Ortu Leather is currently participating in the renovation project of historic luxury Hotel De Crillon in Paris, France, creating accessories pieces that will be featured in the suites. Fabergé is also involved in the project and has been commissioned to design 2 suites.
The Hotel de Crillon is a historic luxury hotel that opened in 1909 in a building dating back to 1758. Located at the foot of the Champs Elysées, it was built at the demand of King Louis XV. During the French Revolution in 1793, King Louis XVI was guillotined in the Place de la Concorde directly in front of the building.
The hotel is set to reopen July 5th this year, rooms start around $1,700 a night.
