Fashion Designer Urbano in ORTU Beverly Hills Atelier

Men's Fashion Designer Urbano Steriti, creator of Urban Guerilla paid us a visit at the Beverly Hills Showroom today. Urbano is working with Frank on the final touches of his upcoming vegetable tanned cowhide leather jackets. This will be an expansion from his existing lineup of duffel, messenger and other travel bags for men.
The jackets will feature removable zipper sleeves as well as a removable zipper hoodie. The signature debossed Urban Guerilla logo will be featured prominently in the back of the jackets. A New York City resident, Urbano cares deeply about the jacket's versatility and its functionality especially in NYC where temperature swings can be gigantic (going from the heat of the subway to the snowy streets in 2 minutes).

Manam featured on Rolling Stone Magazine with Wonder Woman Gal Gadot.

The Rolling Stone Magazine September edition will feature Manam leather pants worn by Gal Gadot
(front page and inside story pictures).

The "Shale Pants" high waisted stretch lambskin leather pants were created and designed by fashion designer Natalie Yaru and manufactured at Ortu Leather's Los Angeles facilities. The leather pants feature 6 pockets, patch logos and ankle zippers.
Natalie is one of a select few talented, young, up and coming designers with whom Ortu leather keeps a very close relationship. Ortu leather's mindset is to always help the designer better manage the growth of their fashion brand by constantly watching leather, lining and other hardware inventory levels as well as monitor sales numbers in order to guarantee both accurate purchasing of materials and appropriate production timelines.

The styling and finishing of Natalie pret a porter fashion line is always avant garde and unique.

As usual Ortu leather is working ensure a quick production turnaround in order to fulfill order requests which already started pouring in, as is usually the case during exceptional press
or film fashion features.

Katro label featured at Gratus Beverly Hills!

Designer friend Kathleen Rosenbloom is currently featuring her new line of ready to wear women moto leather jackets (from her Katro label) at famous Gratus Beverly Hills boutique.
All jackets were designed by Kathleen and manufactured in collaboration with Ortu leather here in Los Angeles.
Gratus is renowned for its unique curation of designers and brands not found elsewhere in the city, as well as a personal service that focuses on personal styling rather than the traditional shopping experience.

VYU leather bags featured at Jose Eber Beverly Hills

Ortu leather just finished working on VYU Fashion voyage leather accessories, created and designed by Jan Grossman.
Jan's creations will soon be featured in avant premiere at Jose Eber celebrity hairstylist salon here at 360 N Camden in Beverly Hills. Fellow Frenchman Jose Eber was born in Nice, France and throughout the years has cut hair for the likes of Farrah Fawcett, Cher, Elizabeth Taylor and many Hollywood celebrities.

For the curious and the ones always thirsty of knowledge, Vyu means Wind God in Sanskrit. And for those badly in need of a nice "coiffure",

Charity Fundraiser at Delikt during Echo Park Rising

Paying a visit to our friend designer Daniel Thies owner of Delikt for his charity fundraiser for 826LA during Echo Park Rising Festival and Delikt store grand opening ! I'm sporting one of the white moto jackets designed by Daniel and manufactured in collaboration with ORTU.

Beverly Hills Open Late Event BOLD summer event

We've only settled into our new Ortu Leather Beverly Hills showroom for a week and already received many requests to participate in the Beverly Hills Open Late Love Beverly Hills BOLD summer event. We typically meet clients in the daytime but we may open for one special night in late August to accommodate all the requests, we'll keep you posted and we definitely appreciate the enthusiasm!

Ortu Leather opens new showroom in Beverly Hills

This week, Ortu Leather opened a new showroom in the heart of Beverly Hills, steps from world famous Rodeo Drive, the Beverly Wilshire Hotel (where Richard Gere courted Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman) and what locals fondly call the "Golden Triangle".

This addition to our existing Downtown L.A. showroom and Gardena, CA Factory will allow Ortu leather to better serve its Westside clients. The Beverly Hills leather contracting and leather supply showroom will enhance the sample development process for our Fashion designers, labels, haute couture brands, production managers and other clients. Production logistics and timelines will benefit as well.

Starting today, Raphael (aka The Leather Emperor) will be headquartered at the new Beverly Hills location. The new showroom features a current assortment of high end private label leather garments, leather bags, and other accessories. It also boasts a leather supply selection, including lambskin, cowhide and other hides from Italian and French tanneries.
